Design covers all aspects of life. It is problem solving and creating; it is something that has an effect on everything. Spatial design influences people’s feelings, moods and much more. It connects to everything in some small way. Connections are what create concepts. They provide links to design something new and unique. They provide influences and this in turn develops into inspiration for better things.

Inspirational images towards final project

 The images below are what inspired me towards my design and what has helped it develop further.




 


Melbourne Station Australia. I was inspired by the roof and the way it was constructed. It gave me ideas towards the sheltered parts of my design.

Petticoat Lane Market, London

The Serpentine Gallery Pavilion 2008, designed by Frank Gehry. This made think about the amount of sheltered space and open space with regard to my ideas.

This is an image of interlocking wheels. It inspired the shape of the market. It has also given me ideas as to how the market can be constructed and made transportable.
